Dr. Adelino Marques da Silva was a Portuguese doctor whose profound scientific knowledge, experience and humanism earned him enormous respect among his peers and made him a wise man and a friend to people. Medicine, especially his acknowledged authority in its tropical branch, led him to Africa halfway through the 20th century, where he lived with his family for two decades. <\/p>\n

Quickly integrated into the local culture, the family was so deeply connected to the environment and the people, that they lived in perfect harmony with the splendid nature and in mutual support with the population. They were considered part of the extended family. That’s why locals decided to share with Dr. Adelino and his family one of their greatest secrets, a story, and the very old recipe of a cream for treating burns, which they called “magic skin cream”. Although at first Dr. Adelino had many doubts about the product’s effectiveness due to its obvious lack of scientific basis, he soon witnessed the exceptional results in the treatment of severe burns and skin rashes. It was with admiration and some astonishment that he noted the rapid elimination of pain, the healing (no wounds or scabs) and the excellent regeneration of the skin. Doubts disappeared and soon came approval. Being a man of science, it was with some surprise that he saw a “traditional” product having results that no other had offered him until then.<\/p>\n

Later, before he and his family returned to Portugal in the mid-1970s, the local population, as a token of their immense gratitude and friendship, gave him the formula for the \u2018magic skin cream\u2019 so that he could share it with the world. <\/p>\n

It was with pride that Dr. Adelino accepted this sharing, this legacy. He was well aware of its history and cultural importance.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

In Portugal, Dr. Adelino returned to practicing medicine in hospitals , where he introduced the healing power of the “magic skin cream” to fellow doctors and nurses.<\/p>\n

His wife, Concei\u00e7\u00e3o, a curious mind about the medicinal properties of plants, took on the task of producing the cream in the family\u2019s home, making it exactly according to ancestral tradition.<\/p>\n

To do this, she sought out the best quality ingredients, produced according to traditional farming practices, as she knew they made all the difference to the final quality of the cream.<\/p>\n

The more natural and purer the ingredients, the better results on the skin.<\/p>\n

Concei\u00e7\u00e3o began offering the cream, in small, hope-filled jars, to family and friends as a way of protecting and helping them in case they needed it.<\/p>\n

Soon, because of all the wonderful things being said, neighbors showed an interest on the product and, before long, they were visited daily by people coming from many different places, looking for the balm.<\/p>\n

In order to meet this growing demand, producing the cream soon became an important part of Concei\u00e7\u00e3o and the family\u2019s life. Producing it became a job.<\/p>\n

Deep down, an enthusiastic and growing community was created, an extended family that is still connected nowadays.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2015, one of the family’s children decided to investigate the formula to find out what made the product work so well.<\/p>\n

This is how, between 2015 and 2020, in cooperation with university and pharmaceutical laboratories, the formulation was analyzed, understood and optimized.<\/p>\n

Every feature, every effect, every texture and every scent were studied, and, after a long process of research and development, the cream originated a new product.<\/p>\n

Its name is ADELINO, a natural balm that unites a man, a family, a story, ancestral know-how and the latest scientific techniques.<\/p>\n

Producing it on a large scale was a great challenge, but we too, the new generation, have created something modern, adding value, safety and quality to it.<\/p>\n

The key stages of production are carried out, as always, manually, by knowledgeable and experienced hands who are used to caring for and handling natural ingredients of the highest quality.<\/p>\n

They are our guarantor, our authenticity and our quality.<\/p>\n
