ADELINO is made of 96.5% natural and naturally sourced ingredients, to which formula stabilisers and preservatives have been added in order to guarantee it is safe and durable.
Ingredients: Brassica rapa root extract, Alba wax, Zinc ricinolate, Laureth-3, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Propylene glycol, Phenoxyethanol, Tocopherol Acetate, Parfum, Aqua, Chlorphenesin, Linalool, Limonene, Benzyl Salicylate, Glycerine, Geraniol.
Due to the nature of its formulation, ADELINO has a remarkable repairing and soothing effect by forming a unique protective layer on the skin.
It is indicated for skin exposed to aggression and burn, sunburn and frostbite, and for application in the diaper area.
For irritation where the skin is intact, spread a quantity of balm that covers the affected area and rub slightly. This includes rashes and irritations caused by burns and prolonged exposure to sun and cold. It should be used several times a day. When applied to the baby’s bum, use a layer of balm for each diaper change to create a protective barrier. If there is a rash already, change the diaper as often as possible and apply ADELINO every time.
External use. Keep out of children’s reach and sight. Keep in a cool, dry place, at room temperature and away from light. Once opened, store in a cold place. If you need to see a doctor, show them the package or label.
The assessment of ADELINO was carried out by calculating the margin of safety (MoS) for each of its ingredients and integrating data published in reference documents. In addition, data concerning the packaging and overall characteristics of the formulation which contribute to the overall safety of the product were also taken into account. Considering the purposes of ADELINO, the margin of safety (MoS) was determined for application of the product to the total skin area of healthy adults and for application to the diaper area in children. According to the Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety (SCCS), children are in a continuous growing process for almost two decades, with different susceptibilities and sensitivities, depending on the age, when compared to adults. The SCCS considers that it is not necessary to apply an additional uncertainty factor for children when intact skin is considered and has used this same rationale in the calculations referred in ADELINO’s safety report.
A product is deemed natural when it is found in that state in nature or it is obtained directly from plants, as is the case with ADELINO, or from minerals, animals or the microbial world. A natural ingredient is a chemical compound that comes from the plant, animal (as in the case of ADELINO’s formulation), mineral or microbial world.
Chemistry is often associated with what is artificial or synthetic; chemical is seen as bad and harmful, while natural is good. This statement is false, natural is not synonymous with better, healthier or safer. Chemically transforming a material allows us to better control its quality, its reproducibility and thus limit impurities. In nature, the quality of natural ingredients varies depending on the climate, the surrounding land or impurities that may have been deposited in it. Finally, we must reinforce the idea that it’s the dosage that makes the poison. All types of ingredients, synthetic or natural, can be dangerous if used in inappropriate doses. ADELINO’s formulation has undergone a rigorous assessment of its safety for humans and the environment, taking into account the conditions of its use.
Beyond the notions of natural or chemical, what is fundamental to preserving the planet is the responsible and balanced use of natural products. Our raw materials are sustainably created by certified producers, and we strongly encourage organic production. We are deeply committed to preserving nature.
