How to take care of your skin in Summer?

Sunbathing offers us unique and incredible moments and sensations of peace and well-being. The sun gives the body benefits such as vitamin D, which promotes the secretion of dopamine and serotonin, the happiness hormones, helps fight psoriasis and acne, activates defenses and strengthens our bones. However, as we all know, without proper care, the sun can pose major health risks. Remember that your skin has memory and that what you do today will leave marks tomorrow. Here you have 7 necessary care measures so that your dermis does not suffer more than it should this summer:

1 – Cleansing: Before lying down in the sun, eliminate impurities, through body exfoliation, for example, this will smooth the skin and leave it ready to the sun. During the beach season, carry out your daily cleansing with gentle formulas that eliminate dirt without altering the skin’s acid layer.

2 – Hydration and repair: the lack of water in the skin leads to a dry, dull and even flaky appearance. In addition to normal hydration, applying a repair product will help create a protective wall on the skin surface, allowing water to be retained inside. ADELINO is an exceptional skin repairer. Give your face special attention, considering that the skin in this area is much thinner and needs more specific care.

3 – Protection: apply sunscreen, minimum 30 SPF, half an hour before exposing yourself to the sun, with clean and dry skin. Don’t forget that even when it is in the shade or when it is cloudy, adequate protection is necessary.

4 – Suitable weather: avoid being in the sun at times of maximum verticality (between 11am and 4pm). Start exposing yourself progressively, especially on the first few days at the beach, don’t forget that the risk of burns in the mountains or open sea is greater.

5 – Appropriate clothing: Choose light clothes, hats, scarves and cool coats.

6 – Food: do not overuse meat and opt for fruits, vegetables and foods rich in antioxidants, which will help prevent cell degeneration and stimulate blood flow to the skin.

7 – Drink more water: Hotter temperatures require double hydration, inside and out, your body loses a large amount of water in the heat, so we must constantly replenish it. Drink plenty of fluids, in addition to water, you can eat gazpachos, cold soups and salads, which are great sources of H2O.
